A Common Question
How do I go about describing to someone what Children’s Village is about? –What we do best, everyday? How, in words, do I get to the heart of Children’s Village? –To the passion and dedication of every single person who works or volunteers here? –The “Feeling” you get when you walk down Miracle Street…
How do I, in words, show you the deepest gratitude expressed on a parent’s face as they look into my eyes - their eyes glossy as they withold tears - and say, “thank you.” “We are fortunate to have you. We are fortunate to have Children’s Village.”
I don’t know… Can words really describe that moment of pure joy, that look of success on a child’s face for the first time? Can words adequately describe what that child’s parents are feeling right then?
…I don’t know. But, I believe there are things that words can not render.
