Dreams…

You have dreams for your child — even before he is born into this world…

You dream he will run and play, go to the beach and to the park — You wonder, will he like baseball? Or, music?

Then, he is born — and, in the midst of silence and wide-eyes — you pray he will live beyond this moment…

He will be ok.  He will always have special needs.  He may never walk on his own – but, with love and devotion, and hard work, and many sleepless nights, and multiple therapies and doctors visits — He will smile and experience joy.  He will experience success.

And, you will have dreams for him – plans and dreams.  Your dreams will be different than they were before.  

But, your dreams are much more than what you think they are…

These dreams and moments will affect others all around you in positive and powerful ways, making this world a better place – a more accepting place, teaching us to be more thoughtful and more respectful — teaching us the very essence of love.
