Children’s Village is proud to offer general anesthesia services as part of its full-service dental program. Available to any and all children throughout the Valley, the dental team specializes in caring for children with special health care needs, behavioral issues, and or dental fears and can serve children with special needs up to 18 years old.
“For a child with severe dental disease, we can do the dental work at once,” Children’s Village Pediatric Dentist Jessica De Bord said. “In the past we had long wait lists to get an operating room at the hospital, but now we can do it right here at Children’s Village.”
Because we know that dental disease is the number one childhood disease and good oral health is important for speaking, eating and sleeping, Children’s Village is committed to making sure that every child receives the best possible care.
“We would prefer not to put kids to sleep, but it’s a safe and effective option for children who need it to ensure their health,” De Bord said. “Sometimes we will see a child who is having behavioral issues and after we get them in and fix their teeth, the problems stop because they are no longer in pain.”
With digital, panoramic x-rays, state-of-the-art equipment, tv’s in the ceiling and specially-trained staff, Children’s Village dental is proud to serve children and families throughout the Valley.
