Parent to Parent’s annual Holiday Festival

This year, close to 250 children made crafts, frosted cookies, played games and enjoyed a visit with Santa and Edward the Elf at Holiday Festival!  Two parties were held in Yakima at Children’s Village, and one party was held in Toppenish at the Toppenish United Methodist Church.  Much thanks goes to groups who provided gifts for the children! They include: Eric Halvorson and family, Flo Wight Guild, Mount Adams Golf Course Women’s group, Advance America and Kohls!  Also, a big thank you goes to groups that helped out with crafting and games- they include Junior League, the Center for Cultural Exchange (with several foreign exchange students), Toppenish High School Boys Pageant contestants, Sunnyside Royalty Court, and Parent to Parent’s many youth and adult volunteers.

One parent commented: “We really loved how patient Santa was with holding our son, and also how the crafts were so fun and accommodating for kids with physical disabilities!”
