We welcome two new pediatric Dentists to Children’s VillageDentists

We are thrilled to welcome  Jessica De Bord,  DDS, MSD, MA and Takish Ziad, two new pediatric dentists to Children’s Village.  They both have experience, knowledge, and a passion for providing dental care for children, in particular, children with special healthcare needs.  Working with the pediatric dental residents here at Children’s Village, they share that knowledge and passion, growing and nurturing new pediatric dentists who will move on to provide this same level of dental care to children in their communities.

As you can read in their personal information, both Dr. De Bord and Dr. Ziad are settling in well at Children’s Village and the Yakima Valley.

About Dr. Ziad

Dr. Takish Ziad graduated from Salahaddin University College of Dentistry in Iraq, and then went on to complete both an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency and Pediatric Dental Residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.

When asked about his new position, he replied with “Children’s village is my long time dream come true. It is a privilege to work with children who have special health care needs and apprehensive kids who leave with a smile on their face.  I am so excited to go to work every day and find great collaborative professionals who enable me to provide the best possible quality care to my patients and staff who strive to put a smile on a child’s face. “

“I love the orchards, the farmer’s market, the lack of traffic, and a million coffee shops in Yakima.  My family and I are delighted to be part of the community here and we are enjoying the Valley.”
