A Quinceanera; in celebration of Children’s Village families and volunteers

Children’s Village Parent to Parent program celebrated its annual volunteer appreciation dinner on Saturday, October 27th. In honor of Children’s Village celebrating its 15th year in October, the theme for the dinner was a Quinceanera! Parent to Parent honored parent, youth and community volunteers who dedicate time and resources throughout the year to support children with special needs and their families.

Children’s Village was honored to have The Division of Developmental Disabilities along with the Parent to Parent Advisory Board sponsor the event. Also, Fiesta Foods provided a wonderful Mexican dinner and Lance Johnson/Image West Photography took photos of the event.

The Bailadores del Sol dancers and 1st Choice Entertainment provided wonderful entertainment and the Eisenhower HS Mecha Club and Cheerleader helped serve food and also helped with child care. The evening was topped off with an inspiring presentation by Memorial Foundation CEO Anne Caffery who celebrated the many youth and families that dedicate themselves to supporting Children’s Village.
