What’s next for Children’s Village? What does our future look like?

Director’s Note

A new year brings the promise of new opportunities for Children’s Village and raises the question – what’s next? What does our future look like?

We know it’s critical to continue to engage our community by telling our story; a story of children growing and learning and families getting connected, validated, encouraged and challenged.

We know that 15 years after our doors opened, some of the first children who walked through our doors are graduating from high school.

We know that demand for our services grows each year. We know that families from throughout our community need Children’s Village.

We also know that Children’s Village is a safe, warm, vibrant place for the entire family.

But most importantly we know that our community supports our mission to link families who have children with special health care needs to services and supports.  Our community is unlike any other place in Washington. Children’s Village sets us apart, providing a beacon of hope to families as they navigate sometimes scary, unknown waters.

Our community continues to believe in the mission of Children’s Village. We are deeply grateful to everyone, including The Memorial Foundation and our partners, volunteers and donors who make this place so special. The families we serve each day recognize it as soon as they walk through the doors. It is a very special place indeed.

If you’ve never crossed the bridge at Children’s Village, join us for a tour or hop on our web site to learn more. We would love to introduce you to some special children and invite you to be part of the magic.
